Ways to Order

The Chlorine Institute Bookstore accepts product orders via the Web, phone, fax, e-mail and mail. Order online via credit card and download a .PDF version to save shipping & handling fees OR Download the order form and send via fax or mail. Need to speak to a live person? Online Purchasing

Save time as well as shipping and handling fees by downloading your order. Follow this link for step-by-step instructions. All online orders are secured using the standard Web encryption technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). The personal/customer information you provide and your credit card information are transmitted in encrypted form, never in clear text. This ensures that any information traveling between the customer's browser and CI's Web servers are protected from being read by those who might attempt to intercept the transmission. The identity of our Web site is vouched for by digital certificates issued by VeriSign, Inc., the leading provider of digital IDs.

Discounts

A quantity discount of 10% is available to CI member companies for orders of 20 or more of the same title.

Non-profit emergency response organizations and water and wastewater municipalities may order materials at the Institute's member prices. Emergency response organizations include fire, police and sheriff's departments, civil defense and medical authorities, and others who need to train responders and use Institute materials on-site during chlorine incidents.

Payment

All orders must be accompanied by payment. Checks or drafts must be payable in U.S. funds and drawn on a bank in the United States. Charges to VISA, MasterCard or American Express are accepted (include your card number, expiration date, and signature with your order).

Replacements, Refunds or Exchanges

Please carefully check your shipment. Any missing or damaged materials reported within 30 days will be replaced at no charge. Refunds will be made if the material is in saleable condition and the request is made within 30 days of order receipt. To receive full credit, the return package must contain a copy of the invoice, or a listing showing title, quantity, invoice number, discount, and list price. No credit will be given for books returned in unsaleable condition. Postage is paid by the customer.

Non-exclusive, one-time-use photocopy permission for classroom or conference purposes may be available upon written request. Include the complete information of the requested work, including title, sections/pages to be copied or reprinted, and number of copies to be made-along with a brief description of your project. Shipping & Handling

All shipping and handling fees are waived for Web orders processed and downloaded from this site. Printed copies of CI publications will be shipped via First Class Mail or UPS Ground unless otherwise requested and paid for by purchaser (e.g., overnight shipment). Publications generally will be shipped within 10 working days after order is received. If express shipment is required, please call for a quote (800-662-3916 or for outside the US 412-741-1289) and please specify on order form. A $10.00 service fee plus the extra cost of express shipment will be added to your order.

Subscription Service

The Institute offers a subscription service with a 25% purchasing discount for seven publication categories. When a publication is revised or a new publication is issued in your subscription category, you will automatically receive notice of availability.

Privacy Policy

The Chlorine Institute respects the privacy of all individuals who purchase our products. All personal information, including name, street, postal and e-mail addresses, and billing information, is considered confidential. CI does not rent its mailing lists to third parties and will not disclose personal information without the visitor's consent except as required by law, court order, or as requested by government or law enforcement authority.
