Cindy Kuranchie

Cindy is responsible for planning, managing and executing two of CI’s major events: our Annual and Fall Meetings. In addition, she contributes to CI's emergency response training activities by managing TRANSCAER® events and serving as a voting member of the National TRANSCAER Task Group. Cindy plays an integral role in keeping members satisfied by serving as the go-to person for questions related to membership. She serves as the CI webmaster, maintaining CI’s website and online bookstore. Cindy is a graduate of George Mason University with a B.A. in Government and International Politics. Cindy earned her MBA at Virginia Tech in 2023. She recently earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation from the Events Industry Council (EIC). In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, baking, and most recently she has been taking pottery lessons.
