Caustic 101 Webinar

This webinar will introduce The Chlorine Institute, TRANSCAER, and available emergency response call centers​. It will provide an overview of the production, uses, classification, bulk transportation, chemical and physical properties, and hazards of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide (collectively referred to as caustic)​ as well as an understanding of caustic exposure and exposure treatment​. It will also provide an overview of basic emergency response considerations and the resources available.

Attendees have the opportunity to earn a certificate of completion after the webinar is over.
