The room rate is $305 excluding taxes. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 17.5%).

This meeting is open to all members. The HESS Issue Team will present progress this year’s goals, including publication updates, a presentation of last year's safety & environmental performance, and a regulatory update of fixed facility chlor-alkali facility issues. Audience participation is encouraged.

This meeting will update members on the status of Emergency Preparedness Issue Team goals, including CHLOREP related activities, TRANSCAER and other chlorine emergency response training and outreach activities, and updates to or new developments of publications and other resources.

Who attends Chlorine Institute Fall Meetings?

Attendees consist of industry professionals, ranging from producers, packagers, distributors, and users of chlorine and other CI mission chemicals. All attendees are members of CI or invited guests. 

What is the dress code?

Business casual attire is appropriate for both the meetings and social events.

This is my first time at a CI meeting or I'm a new CI member, do you hold an orientation?

All first-time attendees are encouraged to participate in New Member/Attendee Orientation session held virtually, on Tuesday September 8, 2026, from 2 to 3 pm. Invitations to the meeting will be emailed closer to the day. You will gain a better understanding of CI, the meeting flow, and meet other new members/first time attendees as well as the CI staff.

New Members/First Time attendees are also encouraged to attend a reception Monday, September 14 at 5:45 PM to meet the Board of Directors and CI Staff.

What is the hotel room rate?

The room rate is $305.00 per night, not including tax. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes.

Please reference the Chlorine Institute Fall Meeting to get the group’s guest room block rate. If interested in booking pre/post Fall Meeting dates, please call reservations. The CI discount code will not work for dates outside of the Fall Meeting dates.

The “cut-off date” is Monday, August 10, 2026. Reservation requests received after the cut-off date will be based on availability at the Hotel’s prevailing rates.


MEETING REGISTRATION AND REFUNDS

How much does it cost to register for the meeting?

For the best rate, register as early as possible. The early bird pricing is $950. Rates increase to $1,050 starting August 14. Starting September 14 rates will be $1,155.

We are not currently offering group discounts for this meeting.

How do I make changes to my registration?

If you are a CI member once you have completed your registration, you will be sent a confirmation email. In that email is a personalized link to the online registration portal where you can update information and get a copy of your receipt/invoice or make a payment. If you would like us to resend your confirmation, please email info@CL2.com. Please be sure to check your spam folder first!

What is the Cancellation/Refund Policy?

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Chlorine Institute at info@CL2.com. Cancellations received on or before Monday, August 24th are entitled to a refund, minus a $100 processing fee. Cancellations received between August 25th and September 7th are entitled to a refund, minus a $200 processing fee. NO REFUNDS will be issued on or after Tuesday, September 8, 2026. 

No refunds will be provided if you have reserved a room at the meeting hotel and have not canceled in accordance with the above cancellations and refund schedule. Rooms at the meeting hotel that have been booked under the Institute’s contract rate that are canceled after the above referenced dates have the potential to prevent the Institute from meeting its contracted guarantees at the host hotel therefore subjecting the Institute to significant financial penalties.

What is the Event Cancellation Policy?

The Chlorine Institute (CI) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If CI cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, CI has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. CI will not be responsible for reimbursement of any participant’s expenses related to the cancellation or postponement of an event.
