2024 Annual Meeting, Technology Symposium, and Table Top Expo

Did you know the Chlorine Institute turns 100 years old this year? Join us as we celebrate CI's Centennial at the 2024 Annual Meeting!

We have made some changes to the typical meeting schedule. Do you usually arrive on Tuesday morning for the Annual Meetings? Consider arriving the day before because we are planning a full day of Monday sessions. The sessions are listed below:

• The International Meeting will be held Monday, April 8^th at 9:00 am local time and will discuss the global chlor-alkali market, among other topics.
• The Packager/Sodium Hypochlorite Council is always a lively session for members to focus on issues affecting chlorine packagers and sodium hypochlorite production. It begins at 1 pm.
• The Product Stewardship Issue Team will meet Monday, April 8^th at 2:45 pm and will discuss the status of annual goals including resources and outreach to meet customer and end-user needs as well as regulatory activities.
• The Emergency Preparedness Issue Team will meet Monday, April 8^th at 4:15pm and will update members on the status of Emergency Preparedness Issue Team goals, including CHLOREP related activities, TRANSCAER and other chlorine emergency response training and outreach activities, and updates to or new developments of publications and other resources.
• The day will conclude with an opportunity for networking at the Welcome Reception, Monday, April 8^th at 6:00 pm.

Accommodations & Costs

As of March 11, 2024 The Chlorine Institute Hotel Room Block at the Sheraton Has Closed.

If you need to modify your hotel reservation at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, use the link below.

Please make your room reservations no later than Monday, March 11, 2024, before 5:00 p.m. local time.

The room rate is $259 excluding taxes. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 14.45%) plus $3 occupancy tax per room per nights, as well as the Statutory Act 410 Tourism Support Assessment of 1.75% for each room rate, per room per night.

You can also make hotel room reservations online. Please visit our meeting page to book your rooms online.

Reservations can only be canceled by calling the hotel directly and obtaining a cancellation number. No-shows will be charged accordingly.

Other Accommodations

There is a Marriott right across the street from the Sheraton as well as a JW Marriott that is a few blocks away. CI does not have a room block at these hotels but they are options for attendees who were unable to book at the Sheraton. Links to their websites are below.
